I support this deal, which is an important step forward that includes commonsense action to save lives.

I haven't read the whole thing, but I'm on the "Yes" side after seeing several people I respect (including Chief Justice Beasley) give it a thumb's up.
Every Trump supporter who donated to him needs to hear this
Trump basically committed wire fraud whilst grifting his voters
and the @NCGOP still support him 100%#ncpol https://t.co/lIMmIATCbf— Cackilack Dev (@CackilackDev) June 13, 2022
If they haven't figured out by now just how much of a grifter he is, one more revelation won't penetrate their rock heads.
The inevitable result of #HB755 will be an increase of young people kicked out of their homes, an increase in youth homelessness, young people forced into sex work and, of course, an increase in youth suicide. #HB755 is an abomination. #ncga #ncpol https://t.co/DRIQEyX8bK

What Robbie said. Evil Steve would gladly knock some heads over this. Veto, with a vengeance.

Okay, some 1,923 people move to North Carolina every week. Not saying that's driving these numbers, but it's definitely a part of the puzzle.
Since @TedBuddNC doesn’t seem to want to condemn @SenThomTillis and Burr for agreeing to vote against 2nd Amendment, we as citizens can make sure to boycott @ProShotsRange since Budd is an owner there. #ncsen #ncpol https://t.co/pdusH3BGxy

Lol! Go for it, dumbass. And thank you...
Tried to confirm this, that they’ve landed on a location. This is all University System Comms will say: “We cannot comment on ongoing real estate negotiations.” Dunno who they’re trying to keep it secret from at this point. #ncpol https://t.co/72G6lvoIue

This may be important to some readers, but frankly, I don't give a hoot. I was going to say, "damn," but I'm trying to cut down on my bad word usage.

Man In Rental Car Spends 20 Minutes Trying To Find Steering Wheel https://t.co/kCY1oRWutY pic.twitter.com/chTvdaTNL1

I laughed, but I've also spent like five minutes trying to figure out how to turn on some windshield wipers in a strange car. It was dark, and after I started the car the interior light went off while I was still poking at the radio. So then I tried to turn on the headlights, which took way too long to figure out. Then I started looking for the wiper symbol? It was way over on the left turn signal thingie, and you couldn't see the symbol until you twisted it and actually turned on the wipers. And there it was. I said some bad words as I drove off...

I can't agree on the supposed "gun control" bill.
While there's nothing in it that's outright bad, that doesn't mean that this is a good bill. It's actually more like a band-aid on a sucking chest wound. It does almost nothing to actually regulate guns or prevent access to military-grade weapons. It only suggests any expansion of red-flag laws with absolutely nothing included that will move states with loose gun laws to comply. It makes only half-hearted stabs at providing funding for mental health care (not that this is actually a gun control measure anyway.) Finally, it provides the same kind of useless funding for school "security" that hasn't and won't actually do anything to prevent even more school shootings, much less do anything about the vast majority of shooting deaths or even mass shooting events. The real problem with it is that it's simply not going to do much of anything to curb gun violence and it will give cover to Republicans (and their handful of Democratic enablers) in Congress to claim that they have done something about guns when nothing could be further from the truth.
Looks like you're right.
I was under the (mistaken) assumption that getting only 10 Republicans to support it meant it had at least some substance. What a sorry state of affairs.
