Tonight I will attempt to live blog the State of the Union Address.....without cussing.

Madame Speaker! I wonder if Nancy will be able to refrain from slapping Dubya upside the head.

Dubya enters the room and the last ten people who like him - Jean Schmidt and John Boehner among them - clap and shake his hand.

The applause is slow and labored. Dubya looks nervous. He should. I jus saw Liddy....really bad highlight job.

Madame Speaker calls Congress to order. Madame Speaker presents Dubya and she gets a huge round of applause. :)

The Pres speaks and says it is an honor to begin his speech with "Madame Speaker". Cheney stands and applauds. He congratulates her and she gets a standing O.

Pray for Tim Johnson and Charlie Norwood.

He congratulates the Democrat majority....Democratic dummy.

Spend the people's money wisely....done failed it.
Solve problems today and not save for future generations....ooops....messed this one up already too.

When he said we must balance the federal budget, Charlie Rangel cracked up. Dubya said we can balance the budget without raising taxes. A few Republicans pulled their heads out of their hindends to give a cheer.

Earmarks slipped into bills in the last hour when not even C-span is watching. Oh....and that would be the party in power dropping those earmarks into these bills....that would be YOUR REPUBLICAN MAJORITY....er...your EX Republican majority.

To keep the economy strong we must take on the challenge of entitlements. If we don't take care to keep medicare and social security our children will be faced with huge deficits, huge tax increases or huge cuts in benefits. SD Two out of three on your watch Dubya....two out of three.

Pelosi stood to applaud all children having affordable available healthcare.

Uh Oh...two new initiatives.
Standard tax deductions for people buying health care.
Changing the tax code is a vital step in making health insurance more affordable to more Americans. SD WHAT?
